Maite Rivero

One voice, many rhythms. Born in Cuba, Maite Rivero trained as a singer in Spain and built her career on European stages with the groups Cubana Son and Zona Cinco. She settled in Miami in 2011, launched her solo career, and competed successfully in a televised singing contest. Her music has since taken her to Mexico, Colombia and across Latin America. Her solo releases include “Así no se toca a una mujer” (2014), “No quiero ser santa” (2015), “Parrandera” (2017), the merengue “Quisiera olvidarte” (2018), “Se acabó el abuso y llegó la bendición” (2021) and “Una vida al 100” (2022), plus “Vivir la vida” with Cristian Dorado. She received the Trilogía de Oro award in 2016 and was honored at the Premios Tacarigua de Oro in 2021. She moves from the intensity of a ranchera to the energy of salsa, with romantic ballads, boleros and merengue in between. Her 60- to 90-minute show works with a live band or professional backing tracks, and fits concerts, theaters, casinos, corporate events and private celebrations.
