Cantimpalo's is a Spanish restaurant in Medley, on the border with Doral and Hialeah Gardens. Real Spanish cooking, from every one of its regions: our chef, Cesar Gonzalez Aznar, was born in Cantimpalos, a village in the province of Segovia known across Spain for its chorizo.

To start, tapas meant for sharing, the way they are eaten in Spain: pan tumaca, marinated white anchovies, ham, cod and oxtail croquettes, garlic shrimp in a clay pot, patatas bravas, Galician-style octopus, fried eggs with jamon, and piquillo peppers stuffed with shrimp. The charcuterie board carries jamon serrano, Cantimpalo chorizo, iberico loin and salchichon; the cheese board, Manchego, Idiazabal, Cabrales and goat cheese.

Then the cooking almost nobody does in Miami: Asturian fabada, Madrid-style tripe, beef cachopo, Cordoban oxtail, pork cheeks in red wine and lamb shank in Spanish sauce. Rice dishes to share — seafood paella, meat paella, squid-ink black rice — Galician fish, and dry-aged beef loin. For dessert, tarta de Santiago, Basque cheesecake and torrijas.

Monday through Friday we serve Lunch Especiales at $22.99 with Spanish bread included, built for the more than eighteen hundred businesses in Medley and the Doral office corridor: lentils with chorizo on Mondays, fabada on Wednesdays, mixed paella on Thursdays. At night we are also a lounge, with flamenco and live music on weekends. Private room for groups and company dinners, and catering for events in Doral, Medley, Hialeah Gardens and Hialeah.
